Island Journeys is a travel agency based out of Lake Oswego, Oregon, specializing in designing exciting vacations and honeymoons to Hawai'i, Tahiti, the Caribbean and other island destinations. We also book travel to Mexico, Europe, and beyond! Whether you need help planning your honeymoon, a family vacation, or want to book a luxury cruise, we can assist you plan an awesome trip! MEET NANCY

My love of travel began in the early 60's when our family moved to Switzerland where we lived in a Swiss chalet high in the Alps with incredible views of Lake Geneva. We then spent 3 years in England where I attended several strict, prim and proper girls' schools. After that, we were off on another adventure in Hawaii where our family took time to travel around the islands, exploring the diverse areas of this exotic and magical state. 

In 1990, I followed my dreams and entered the world of travel. After working in the industry for several years, my fondness for the islands led me to become a Hawai'i Vacation Specialist. For the past 20 years, I have been fortunate to have traveled to Hawai'i more than 25 times which allowed me stay up to date with the majority of hotels and condo properties available on all the islands. Also, I am fortunate to have met and stay in touch with contacts at most of the hotel and condo properties throughout the islands. I am not shy about asking for favors for my clients.

Tahiti is another one of my favorite destinations. I would love to help you plan a family friendly, romantic vacation or honeymoon to this amazing island paradise!  

I work hard to provide the most detailed and customized information to insure that there are no bumps along the road on your trip. My greatest joy is when my clients return home with special memories that will last a lifetime!

Meet Christie Stilson

My passion for Hawai'i started when I first stepped off the plane in 1970. Discovering the excitement of Waikiki and then the magic of Maui, the tranquility of Kaua'i, the calm of Moloka'i and the luxury of Lana'i, and the diversity of The Big Island ... each has its own appeal. The scribbles of notes taken to share with friends evolved into a small volume that was self-published. Over the years and 28 guidebooks later, Paradise Publications shared with their readers the honesty and insight to accommodations, dining, recreation, beaches, and more. The books have been retired but I continue to be actively involved in the happenings in the islands. The Maui Update, an augment of the books, continues in its 34th year.
